1. Vehicle purchases
Once an EV has been delivered, registered with the RTO and put on the road, it cannot be returned. This is because the vehicle becomes a registered second-hand asset the moment the RTO process completes.
2. Test ride and booking deposits
- Test ride deposits (if any) are fully refundable after the test ride is completed, within 7 working days to the original payment source.
- Booking advance paid online via Razorpay is refundable up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date.
- Within 48 hours of delivery, booking advance is non-refundable as the vehicle has been allocated and RTO process initiated.
3. Manufacturing defects
If your vehicle has a manufacturing defect, it falls under the warranty policy. The dealer will either repair or replace the defective component free of cost, as per warranty terms. Full vehicle replacement is at Tunwal's discretion based on the severity and the assessment by our technical team.
4. Spare parts
Spare parts purchased through authorised Tunwal outlets can be returned within 7 days if unused and in original packaging. Electrical components (batteries, controllers, chargers) cannot be returned once unsealed.
5. Refund processing time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
6. How to request a refund
Raise a refund request at your purchase dealer with the original invoice. For online booking advance refunds, write to refunds@tunwal.com with your booking reference and Razorpay payment ID.
