Products & Specifications
Models, performance, certification and what to expect on the road.
Low-speed Tunwal models (max 25 km/h) require no driving licence or vehicle registration. High-speed models such as the Storm ZX (up to 85 km/h) require standard registration and a valid licence.
Tunwal offers 12+ electric two- and three-wheelers — from the compact Mini Lithino (from ₹43,990) and budget-friendly Sport 63, through the premium Roma N and Lithino Pro, to the high-speed Storm ZX and cargo-focused Storm Advance range. Prices vary by city, battery option and applicable state EV subsidy. Visit our Products page or call us for current on-road pricing.
All low-speed models are electronically limited to 25 km/h — no licence or registration required. The Storm ZX (high-speed) reaches up to 85 km/h and requires standard registration.
All models feature a 250W BLDC brushless hub motor with IP65 weatherproof rating. Standard equipment includes a digital speedometer, anti-theft alarm with remote lock key, tubeless tyres with auto cut-off and USB charging (select variants).
Absolutely. Every Tunwal is designed and manufactured at our Palsana, Rajasthan facility with Indian roads in mind. The IP65-rated motor and sealed electricals handle rain, dust and rough terrain with ease.
Charging & Battery
Range, charging time, battery options and everyday running cost.
Range varies by model and battery choice: entry models deliver 50–60 km; mid-range models 60–70 km; and top-range lithium-ion variants (Alfa Pro, Lithino Pro) achieve 90–100 km on a single charge.
Lithium-ion variants charge in 4–5 hours on a standard household socket. Lead-acid variants take 7–8 hours. A full charge costs just a few rupees of electricity.
Choose lithium-ion if you ride daily, want a lighter scooter and prefer faster charging (4–5 hrs) — it also lasts more charge cycles. Choose lead-acid if you want a lower upfront price and ride occasionally. Both options are available across most Tunwal models.
Yes. Every Tunwal comes with a charger that plugs into any standard Indian household socket (5A or 15A). A lithium-ion charge takes around 4–5 hours and typically costs ₹8–12 in electricity — far cheaper than filling a petrol tank.
Yes — on select lithium-ion models the battery pack is detachable, so you can carry it to any socket without moving the scooter. Check the specific model page for removable battery availability.
Just ₹0.15 per km on electricity — compared with ₹3–4 per km on petrol. A typical commuter of 30 km/day saves over ₹30,000 a year by switching to Tunwal.
Warranty
Coverage on the vehicle and battery, and how claims work.
Every Tunwal comes with a 1-Year Comprehensive Warranty covering manufacturing defects in the vehicle and core electrical components, backed by 400+ authorised dealers and service centres nationwide.
Lithium-ion battery packs carry a longer warranty period than lead-acid batteries. The exact duration is stated on your invoice and warranty card at the time of purchase.
Covered: manufacturing defects in the vehicle, motor and core electricals. Not covered: normal wear items (tyres, brake pads, bulbs), physical or accident damage, water submersion, unauthorised modifications or use of non-genuine parts.
Bring your vehicle, invoice and warranty card to any of our 400+ authorised dealers or service centres. The service team will inspect the vehicle, verify coverage and repair or replace the affected component — free of charge if within warranty scope.
Yes, your Tunwal warranty is valid at any of our 400+ authorised dealers across 19 states — no transfer or re-registration required.
Service & Maintenance
Servicing, spare parts and keeping your Tunwal in top condition.
Through our 400+ authorised dealers across 19 states. Use the Dealer Locator on the website to find the nearest showroom or service centre — just enter your city or PIN code.
Much less than a petrol scooter — there’s no engine oil, spark plugs, clutch or exhaust system to maintain. A periodic check-up (brakes, tyre pressure, battery health, software update) as per your owner’s manual is all that’s needed.
Genuine Tunwal spare parts are available at all authorised dealers and service centres. You can also call our dedicated spare-parts helpline: +91 63543 34184.
Yes. Book a free test ride from any model page, the Home page or the header. To schedule a service, contact us via the Contact page or call your nearest dealer directly.
Top up regularly rather than running flat; use only the supplied Tunwal charger; store and charge in a cool, dry place; avoid leaving the battery at 0% for extended periods. Following these steps will maximise battery life and maintain your warranty coverage.
